HOW DO ONLINE PAYMENTS WORK?

General Payment Practices

Fees per transaction are 2.9% + .30 of the total amount charged.

For Tenants:

When rent is due, a tenant is presented with an option to pay rent via their dashboard.

After a tenant has attached a validated payment method and initiated their payment, their job is done!

For Landlords:

Credit/debit card payments will show up as PENDING TRANSFER immediately. ACH (bank) transfers may take up to 7 business days to succeed and show up in your PENDING TRANSFERS.

PENDING TRANSFERs are deposited to your attached bank account on a 2-business-day rolling period.

YOUR PENDING TRANSFER MAY SHOW AS $0.00 AS IT IS TRANSFERRED TO YOUR ACCOUNT DURING THE 2 DAY ROLLING SCHEDULE. Rest assured your payment is on its way!

Credit/Debit Payments

Credit/debit cards succeed or fail immediately upon an attempt to make a payment. Successful payments will show up in your PENDING TRANSFER immediately. That payment will then transfer to your attached bank account on a 2 business day rolling transfer schedule.

ACH Bank Payments

Because of the nature of bank payments they can take longer to succeed or fail. They may not show up in your PENDING TRANSFER for up to 7 business days, after which a transfer to your attached bank account will be made on a 2 business day rolling period.
